Where are you located? I am located on Long Island, New York. However, I am often on the road and I am willing to travel, please reach out to me for information on travel fees. What if the weather is bad? I will keep an eye on the weather as our session nears and happily offer to reschedule as needed! Please note that weather can change very quickly and I try to hold out hope for our session. How do I prepare my horse? My best advice would be to prepare your horse as if they were going to a horse show! The cleaner the horse is the better the images will be, the same goes for the tack. I understand horses can be unpredictable so any cuts, scars, or small blemishes on the horse can be removed. However, I can not edit winter coats off of a horse, long unclipped whispers, unkempt bridles, etc. What if my horse is spooky? Most black background photoshoots are done in the barn or indoor arena. This will make your horse as comfortable as possible. For horse and rider sessions I advise bringing your horse anywhere you would like to take photos multiple times before the session date this way the horse is comfortable with their surroundings. What if I have more than one horse? For black backgrounds each horse will be shot separately then in post production I will edit them together. If you have more then one horse or pony please let me know before the session date so we can find a package that best suits your needs! Will my horse show up on a black background? Every session is unique, just like every horse. However all horses show up on black backgrounds. It is my honor to make sure that all horses standout and wow in their portrait session. What if my barn has bad lighting? All photos are taken with natural light, so your barn doesn’t need to provide any lighting options!
How can I pay? You can pay with cash, check, credit or debit card. If you wish to pay with credit or debit please let me know before the session. How long till I receive my photos? Photos will be sent out within 6 weeks of the shoot date.
How will I receive my photos? You will receive your photos in a private online gallery through your email. What are the wall printing options? I offer canvas prints, metal prints, and acrylic prints. All printing is done with a professional printing lab to ensure the best quality and sent right to your door! What resolution will my photos be? All session photos are sent out as social media digitals. They will be no bigger than 2048px. Can I purchase a print release? You can absolutely purchase a print release. Print releases are $200 per image. Will I receive the unedited/ raw photos? All unedited and raw photos will not be released. What will my gallery look like? All galleries are private and password protected but once you get into your gallery it will look like this.
